Mission

The better world village wants to invite visitors and locals into a space where we can imagine a better world.

The niche contribution of the village will be to facilitate conversation on critical global issues, ranging from homelessness, human trafficking, sustainable development and others, all in the context of celebration and play.

This will compliment the host city’s parallel activities through unique local expressions.

Publicity

This initiative will profile

*        critical issues of global social concern

*        the City of Tshwane, its assets and stories of hope

*        the visions and work of the partner organizations

*        the change-makers in the African and global Ashoka network

*        the faith & civil society initiatives showcased in the international consultation

 

The legacy of the village will be secured through data and information collection, the consolidation of research done on 2010 publications of the stories and results in the form of books, videos etc.
